What if it's just imagining myself without THIS job that I have right now? And while I know I would be worse off financially, I think on the whole I would be better off (mentally, emotionally and physically) without it.
Been there. While I am now at poverty level (or probably below it actually) by leaving my job to work for my grandparents on their ranch, I feel better. My stress knots are gone. I don't complain as much. While I miss my friends and old co-workers, I don't miss the crap I went through every day for a boss who didn't know her butt from a hole in the ground and a psycho employee who had the company by the cajones.
As my mom told me, "sometimes you just have to jump and have faith it will work out."
