The five most beautiful words

"Today's meeting has been cancelled."

And proof that there is someone out there looking out for me..will still be here until who knows when tonight, but at least I am saved from going to another meeting!

    I also like when conference calls are canceled. I almost like real meeting better. I HATE sitting on the phone. I pay no attention at all.

    Those are five very beautiful words. But in my new life here in DC, my usual words are: Thursdays drive me to drink. Somehow Thursdays are the one and only day that people schedule meetings. (Not kidding.) So you can imagine that these meetings waste my time, make my mind numb, and add more work to my plate.

    Hopefully there will be more cancellations for you today. :)
